Marine Construction Estimator

UESI is seeking a Marine Construction Estimator for our Ft. Pierce, Florida office. The estimator will assist management teams with completing construction projects by estimating and organizing project elements, developing relationships during the bid phase, contractual stage, and construction phase.

Responsibilities:

  • Work independently and productively in developing project leads into a presentable proposal for work
  • Construction experience specific to the marine industry is highly encouraged
  • Able to interpret and understand construction plans, contracts, technical specifications and details
  • Have strong computer skills (Excel, Work, Primavera P-6, MS Project, PowerPoint, AutoCAD)
  • Outstanding communication skills, highly organized
  • Clean, neat and presentable appearance.
  • Positive attitude and able to work well with other employees and clients
  • Non Smoker

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related disciple, or significant construction/estimating experience
  • Estimating Experience is Required
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent work ethic with attention to detail
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • Must pass drug screening

Nuclear Coating Inspectors

UESI is seeking to qualify Nuclear Certified Coatings Inspectors (Level I, II, and III) for future opportunities in Nuclear Coating Inspections for the 2020 Spring outage season. Experienced, previously qualified and certified Nuclear Coating Inspectors are preferred. However, NACE certification may be acceptable for some positions. Candidates will be trained and qualified under our 10CFR50, Appendix B QA Program in early 2020 (Inspector certifications based upon ANSI N45.2.6, ASME NQA-1 and ASTM D4537). The project work includes significant overtime and is expected to last about 40 days.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Prior Nuclear Inspector experience and certification preferred and/or NACE Level 1,2, or 3
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent work ethic with attention to detail
