Nuclear Coatings Qualification Testing Contracts

Nov 2014UESI has performed a number of safety related test programs requiring that we develop, administer, and conduct programs to test, qualify, and specify new build or replacement/ refurbishment of coatings utilizing ANSI N 101.2 or ASTM D 3911 Standards to meet Licensee design basis regulatory commitments. All testing is overseen by our nuclear trained coatings staff and conducted under our 10CFR 50- Appendix B, ASME NQA-1 QAA Program. Testing services are regularly perfumed for US utilities as well as for utilities in Japan and Korea. UESI has provided technical consultation, professional engineering services and coatings/corrosion inspections & analysis to the protective coatings industry since 1974. With regard to nuclear industry specific protective coatings testing and qualification services, UESI has provided technical consultation services for the conduct and evaluation of nuclear coatings/liner qualification testing since 1986. These tests generally are categorized as either involving specific coating product applied on specific substrate coating/material, or involving many candidate coating materials applied over numerous industry standard substrate coating/liner systems as a means to provide selection of the best evaluated material(s), and to provide supporting qualification and certification documentation for materials passing the qualification testing criterion (for both immersion and non-immersion application and service).
