Underwater Engineering Services, Inc. is announcing that Mr. Jack Glanville has retired from UESI. Jack was one of the original members of the organization and over the past 27 years, has filled almost every position in the company, from a dive tender to the branch manager.
UESI’s Charlie Vallance, reflects on the early days of the company and Jack’s involvement, “Jack and I were the second and third divers hired by UESI in the late 80’s. Together with Kerry Dillon and Charlie Stuart, we helped to develop the nuclear underwater coatings program. We have worked together almost continuously since then and it looks like we will finish out our careers with UESI. It’s the end of an era.”
UESI’s current President Ken Griffin commented that, “I was stunned with the prospect of Jack leaving. There will be no way I will ever be able to replace such an experienced and valuable asset. I wish him health and happiness.”
Jack will be missed by all and all of us at UESI wish him and his family the very best, in this new phase of his life.
