FPL U3 Circ Water Pipe Dewater and Inspection

UESI performed an inspection of the FPL Martin Plant Unit 3 Circulating Water Discharge Pipe. The pipe is a 2500-LF concrete pipe. The associated work consisted of the following: install stop logs and dewater the discharge vault; remove levee manhole and dewater main section to remove lower manholes; remove lower manholes to finish dewatering, install ventilation and open main access; install pump and dewater the backside of the levee circ water discharge; inspect the circ water pipe and discharge vault for spalls, cracks, exposed rebar, joint filler condition, and the general condition of the concrete pipe; reinstall the manhole covers; and provide a report describing and documenting found conditions.
