UESI offers some of its most specialized services to the nuclear power industry. We regularly perform nuclear safety related services under our NUPIC audited 10 CFR 50, Appendix B/ASME NQA-1, Quality Assurance Program. These services include maintenance, retrofits, spent fuel pool services, coating assessment and application, work on reactor vessel internals, underwater ASME & AWS Code welding, plasma arc cutting, electronic/exothermic cutting, specialized coating and corrosion control services, nondestructive examinations, ASME Section XI exams, condition assessment & failure analysis, engineering & technical services, and training & qualification services.
UESI provides multi-disciplined consulting and engineering services and is able to address a wide range of challenges facing the industries we serve. Our in-house resources include professional engineers, expert consultants, divers, inspectors, technicians, and construction specialists.
UESI inspection plans are developed in cooperation with the Owner, Operator, or Licensee so that they are specific to the needs of the facility. Inspection programs comprehensively assess a structure and its operating components. Data is compiled to address both maintenance and regulatory issues and create a targeted maintenance or repair plan.
UESI has extensive experience in performing repair and maintenance work on wood, steel, and concrete structures. With our in-house engineering capability, we are able to address the design/build needs of complex repair or maintenance requirements. With our highly skilled dive teams and construction specialists, these services are easily applied to challenging problems often facing facility owners and operators.
